Affiliate Disclosure
Effective: April 2026
The Midlife Daily ("we," "us," "our") is reader-supported. This page describes how we make money and how that revenue model affects (or, more importantly, does not affect) our editorial coverage. This disclosure is provided in compliance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising (16 C.F.R. Part 255).
What "affiliate" means
Many of the products we cover include "affiliate links." When you click an affiliate link on our site and subsequently purchase a product or service, we may receive a commission from the seller. You pay the same price whether or not you use our link. The commission comes from the seller's marketing budget, not from your wallet.
How affiliate revenue funds The Midlife Daily
Affiliate commissions are our primary source of revenue. They pay our writers, our editors, our hosting, and our research time. Without affiliate revenue, we would not be able to keep this site free for readers.
Our editorial firewall
Our editorial team selects every product we review based solely on quality, relevance to our readers, and evidence of efficacy. We do not accept payment for reviews, rankings, ratings, placement, or coverage. Brands cannot purchase positive reviews from us. Whether or not a product carries an affiliate program does not affect whether or how we cover it.
How affiliate links are marked
Articles that contain affiliate links carry a clearly visible disclosure at the top of the article. Individual outbound links to retailers may be tracked through our redirect system (URLs beginning with /go/) so that we can update partner URLs in one place if a program changes. Tracking these clicks helps us understand which recommendations are useful to readers.
Networks and merchants we work with
We participate in affiliate programs operated by, among others: Amazon Associates, ShareASale, Impact, Awin, ClickBank, Digistore24, and direct merchant partnerships. Specific programs may change over time.
Sponsored content
We do not currently accept sponsored content, paid placement, or "advertorial" pieces written or paid for by brands. If this policy ever changes, sponsored content will be clearly labeled as such on a per-article basis.
Questions
If anything on this site appears to violate this disclosure, please email [email protected] and we will investigate immediately.
